Le Bec-Hellouin, a small green setting between two long forest phalanxes. The Bec stream twists around here before joining the Risle, higher up, at Pont-Authou. It is in this bucolic landscape that the knight Herluin, originally from Brionne, chose to settle and found an abbey in the 11th century, which quickly became a center of spirituality.
It is around this major and hypnotic building that this immersive hike in the forest revolves, ideal for the first days of spring and which I will introduce you to as I go.
